The close collaboration between universities and local governments was further strengthened by a working visit by the Batu City Komdigi (Institute of Digital Technology) to the PTIPD UIN Malang. The event, held on November 21, 2024, served as a forum for exchanging information and best practices in ICT infrastructure development in educational settings. The meeting discussed several topics, including:<\/p>\n\n\n\n

1. Network Management on Campus 1, 2, 3<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the working visit, the PTIPD UIN Malang team presented in-depth information on network management spanning three campuses. The discussion focused on existing network infrastructure, capacity, coverage, and the challenges faced in managing an increasingly complex network as users and services grow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2. Network Monitoring and Monitoring Management<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

The PTIPD team explained the network monitoring and oversight system they have implemented. The discussion covered the type of software used, the monitoring frequency, and the critical parameters that are consistently monitored. They also discussed the early warning system they have implemented to proactively detect and address potential network issues.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The UIN Malang Network Information Technology (PTIPD) outlined the steps taken to protect the campus network from various threats, such as cyberattacks, unauthorized access, and data leaks.
