MALANG – The Information Technology and Database Center (PTIPD) of the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held workshop regarding management website work unit today, Monday (May 25). Held in the Meeting Room on the 3rd Floor of the Rectorate Building, this activity is specifically aimed at the administrative staff. website work units that are new or unfamiliar with the WordPress platform.

This strategic step was taken as a concrete effort by the university to support and facilitate academic activities at the faculty and study program (prodi) levels, particularly in terms of information dissemination and excellent digital governance.

The material presented by the PTIPD team covers all the basic to intermediate aspects needed to manage a website institutions, including:

• Article Management (Posts): Participants are taught how to create good new articles, understand important components in articles, apply categorization (category & tags) so that the information is neat, until the process publishing to the public.
• Page & Menu Customization: The training continues on the material of creating new pages (page) and how to organize the navigation menu structure website so that it is easily accessible to visitors.
• Contemporary Layout Design: The final session was filled with material on layout arrangement (layout) page using page builder Elementor, which makes it easier for admins to design the appearance website visually without having to master complicated programming languages.

The participants' enthusiasm was evident throughout the event. All work unit administrators followed the presenter's instructions and tutorials closely. Considering that the WordPress platform was still relatively new to some participants, PTIPD deployed several technical personnel to provide direct, in-person assistance (one-on-one) on each participant's table.

By implementing this activity, it is hoped that all website Work units within UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang are increasingly active, informative, and have a professional appearance to support the university's vision towards superior campus digitalization.
