Preparation Stage

Make sure you have prepared your account credentials in the form of Student Identification Number (NIM) or Employee Code as username, as well as SIAKAD password which is active to perform the network authentication process.

Device Configuration Guide

Please select the device type tab you are using below to see the technical configuration steps that have been adapted to each operating system.

  1. Open the list of WiFi networks by clicking the WiFi icon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar.
  2. Select network UIN.1X.
  3. Insert username And password your Siakad account, then click OK.
  4. If a security verification window appears, click Connect to continue.
  5. Wait a few moments until your device successfully connects to the network.

Run Configuration File

  1. Double-Click downloaded configuration file
  2. Click the “Run” button on pop-up new emerging
  3. If there is no “Run” button, click the “more info” button then click “Run Anyway”

Connect to UIN.1x Wi-Fi network

  1. Open the list of WiFi networks by clicking the WiFi icon in the bottom right corner of the taskbar.
  2. Select UIN.1x network
  3. Insert username And password SIAKAD
  1. Open Settings > Wi-Fi and make sure it is active.
  2. Select network UIN.1X .
  3. Set configuration: CA Certificate: “Don't Validate” or “Don't Validate”, EAP method: PEAP, Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPV2.
  4. Insert username And password  Siakad You.
  5. Click Connect.
  1. Entered into Arrangement > Wi-Fi.
  2. Select network UIN.1X.
  3. Insert username And password Your Siakad.
  4. If a certificate warning appears (“Certificate”), press Trust or Trust in the top right corner.
  5. Your device will soon connect to the network.
  1. Click the WiFi icon in the menu bar (top right corner of the screen).
  2. Select network UIN.1X.
  3. Insert username And password Your Siakad.
  4. If the certificate verification window appears, click Continue.
  5. You may be asked to enter your Mac admin password to save the settings.
  6. After that, your Mac will be connected to the network.

Having Problems? (Troubleshooting)

Authentication Failed or Rejected

This usually occurs due to a spelling error. username or password. Double check that your Siakad account is correct, there are no extra spaces, and pay attention to the use of upper/lower case (case-sensitive).

Status "Saved" But Not Connected

Your device may still have old, invalid configurations. Please select the option “Forget Network” (Forget Network) on the Wi-Fi name, then try the process login restart from the beginning

Unstable or Frequently Disconnected Connection

Make sure you're within range of a strong enough signal. If you have a strong signal but your connection is still slow, try turning off your device's Wi-Fi for a moment and then turning it back on to refresh your connection.
