MALANG, March 31, 2026 – Taking place in the 3rd Floor Hall of the Ar-Rahim Building, the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held an event entitled “"Strengthening Spiritual Mentality Towards an Islamic Campus with a Global Reputation"”. This event was special because it not only served as a forum for strengthening the inner vision, but also marked a major step for the university in the digital realm with the launch of a new look for UIN Malang's official website.

This event was attended by national figures, Prof. Dr. Muhadjir Effendy, MAP., who delivered the keynote address. His presence further enhanced the ranks of leaders in attendance, including the Rector of UIN Malang, Vice Rectors, campus officials, and former Rectors.

A New Face for Global Reputation

Rector of UIN Malang, Prof. Dr. Ilfi Nur Diana, M.Sc, in his remarks, emphasized the importance of technological adaptation amidst global competition. After the remarks, the procession launching The new UIN Malang website was officially launched symbolically in front of all the invitees.

This new website is designed not just for aesthetic updates, but as a international digital showcase. This is in line with the brilliant achievements recently achieved by UIN Malang, including:

• Top 3 Best UIN in Indonesia version QS World University Rankings 2026.
• Various prestigious national and international awards strengthen the campus' position on the global stage.

“"This new website is a window to the world to see UIN Malang. With our achievements now ranking among the top three universities in the QS Rankings, we need a platform that can represent our academic quality and spiritual integrity to an international audience," said Prof. Ilfi in his remarks.

Greeting the World with a New Identity

With more advanced features, enhanced international language support, and intuitive navigation, the new website is expected to facilitate global collaboration. The presence of previous rectors at the event also symbolized that today's digital innovation is the fruit of a long and arduous journey of leadership over time.

The event closed with a spiritual strengthening session by Prof. Muhadjir Effendy, reminding that behind the sophistication of technology and achievements in global rankings, mental strength and Islamic spirituality remain the main roots of UIN Malang.

UIN Malang has now officially taken a step further, appearing more modern, and ready to face the future as a World Class University.
