MALANG, April 8, 2026 – Following the launch of the new look of the UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang main website, the Center for Information Technology and Databases (PTIPD) moved quickly to strengthen digital synergy internally. Taking place in the Meeting Room on the 3rd Floor of the Rectorate Building, PTIPD held a socialization event on Wednesday (April 8) to integrate the main website with all faculty websites.

This activity is a strategic step to standardize the flow of information across all work units to align with the vision. World Class University.

Content Synergy: One Click, Publish Anywhere

The primary goal of this integration is to create work efficiencies for content managers at the faculty level. Through this new integration system, important news or information uploaded to the faculty website can be automatically published on the university's main website.

This technical session was guided by two Person in Charge (PIC) technical main website of UIN Malang, Abunawas Arifandi And Muhammad Aufa Shiddiq. In their presentation, they emphasized that this system was designed to cut down on content bureaucracy which often requires managers to work twice (double work).

“"We want to create seamless data synchronization. With just one input from the faculty, the information is immediately and systematically distributed on the main portal. This saves time and ensures that information is not left behind," the technical team explained to the participants.

Go Global with TranslatePress Automatic Translation

Beyond content integration issues, this outreach also brought good news for campus internationalization efforts. The PTIPD team explained the use of plugins. TranslatePress which is now implemented on faculty, unit and study program (prodi) websites.

This automatic translation feature provides a solution to the language challenges web administrators often face. With this plugin:

• Time Efficiency: Managers no longer need to manually translate articles one by one.
• International Accessibility: Make it easier for visitors from abroad to understand the profile and academic information in each work unit.
• Language Consistency: Maintaining translation quality across all web pages.

Towards Modern Information Governance

With this integration and automatic translation feature, it is hoped that all units at UIN Malang will maintain a consistent pace in publishing their achievements and activities. The 3rd Floor Meeting Room is a testament to the enthusiasm of faculty web administrators in embracing technology that simplifies their daily workload.

This step proves that UIN Malang is not only pursuing global rankings administratively, but also technically through smart and efficient digital infrastructure improvements.
