PTIPD UIN Malang has announced the development of a new application called "Simpelmas." This application is designed as a management system for research and community service proposals from researchers.

This application was developed to facilitate researchers from inside and outside UIN Malang, reviewers, committees, and administrators, "Simpelmas" has a number of features that include the ability to upload documents, validation, check proposal similarity, reviewer and committee planning, determining aid acceptance, assessment, and uploading reports, and much more.

The app is currently in the soft launch phase, where the development team will make several adjustments before its official release. One key plan is data integration with the central Litapdimas (District Information and Public Information Agency).

On December 14, the “Simpelmas” development team will meet with the Litapdimas Developer at UIN Raden Mas Said Surakarta to get further assistance in developing this application.

The target date is around December 18th, when, if all goes smoothly, the application will be accessible to research users to register for the opening of research clusters.

By the end of the year, on December 30th or 31st, the system is expected to have reached the nomination announcement stage, marking an important milestone in the development of the application.

The plan is that in January, PTIPD UIN Malang plans to invite Litapdimas Developers to UIN to see firsthand the development of the system that has been implemented.

“"Simpelmas" is expected to not only be an application that simplifies research and community service management for researchers, but also a step forward in system integration within UIN Malang. This application is expected to provide significant benefits to the research ecosystem at UIN Malang and beyond.
