MATARAM – In order to anticipate increasingly dynamic cyber threats, the Center for Information Technology and Database (PTIPD) of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang sent a special team to attend the activity. “"Cross-Sector Collaboration Strengthens Cybersecurity"”. This national scale event was held on June 23–24, 2026 located at the University of Mataram, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB).
This strategic forum was attended by high-ranking officials from the National Cyber and Crypto Agency (BSSN), the Deputy Governor of West Nusa Tenggara and regional government officials, as well as representatives of IT managers from various universities in Indonesia.
PTIPD UIN Malang has specifically assigned two expert personnel from CSIRT (Computer Security Incident Response Team) UIN Malang. The presence of this cyber incident response team is tangible evidence of the campus' commitment to building a solid digital defense.

Throughout the two days of implementation, participants were presented with material and intensive discussions that focused on four main pillars:
- National Cybersecurity Strengthening Strategy
- Enhanced Cyber Incident Preparedness
- Information Security Governance Development
- The Urgency of Cross-Sector Collaboration
Post-Activity Target: More Responsive and Resilient
Cyber threats cannot be faced alone. Through this collaborative forum, the UIN Malang CSIRT team is equipped with the latest response methods standardized by the National Cyber and Cyber Security Agency (BSSN).
By participating in this national forum, UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang is optimistic that it can respond much more quickly (fast response) in detecting and handling any cyber incidents that have the potential to disrupt academic services, and can create a campus digital ecosystem that is not only advanced in terms of facilities, but also resilient, safe, and trusted from various potential cyber disturbances.
