Accelerating Campus Quality: UIN Malang Discusses Strategic Follow-up to the 2026 IKU

MALANG – Following up on the determination of the Key Performance Indicators (IKU), the State Islamic University (UIN) Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang held an intensive coordination meeting on April 29-30, 2026 in the UIN Malang Student Affairs and Research Institute (LPM) Room. This activity focused on data synchronization and reporting schemes to ensure the university's targets are achieved in a measurable and accountable manner.

This meeting is a follow-up after the publication of Decree of the Chancellor of UIN Maulana Malik Ibrahim Malang Number 424 of 2026. The decision establishes strategic KPI points that were previously compiled by the leadership and stakeholders within the campus environment.

Data Integration Through the PTIPD Dashboard

Information Technology and Database Center (PTIPD), as the person responsible for the application dashboard University performance, acting as both host and facilitator for this meeting. The main focus of the discussion was building an integrated data ecosystem so that each KPI achievement can be monitored effectively. real-time.

This meeting presents cross-sectoral collaboration involving:

  • Career Development Center (CDC): Regarding data on graduate absorption in the world of work.
  • Academic Team & Central Library: Regarding the quality of learning and accessibility of references.
  • Quality Assurance Institute (LPM): Internal quality standards monitoring.
  • LP2M: Focus on research achievements and community service.
  • General Affairs, Personnel, and Finance Section: Synchronization of managerial support and human resources.

Three Main Points of Discussion

During the two days of implementation, the discussion was narrowed down to three technical pillars, namely:

  1. Data source: Ensure the validity of the original data so that the KPI assessment is objective.
  2. Data Collection Scheme: Determine the data retrieval mechanism (automation vs manual) to minimize input errors.
  3. Final Results Reporting: Standardization of report formats that will be presented to management as material for policy evaluation.

Results and Follow-up

The event proceeded smoothly and was attended by almost all invited work units. The outcome of this meeting was a Follow-up Matrix comprehensive. Each stakeholder now has a clear mandate to execute data collection according to their respective areas of responsibility.
