Today, November 22, 2023, the Information Technology and Database Management Unit (PTIPD) of the State Islamic University (UIN) Malang held a meeting to develop an innovative and practical correspondence application. This meeting was held as part of an effort to demonstrate the latest application to the General Section, particularly archivists.
The Head of the PTIPD Unit at UIN Malang explained that the application was designed to streamline correspondence within UIN Malang. He stated, "This application is not only a practical solution to expedite correspondence management, but also a progressive step toward efficient technology use on campus."“
During the demonstration session, the application development team showed various superior features contained in the application, such as:
- Email Management: Users can create, send, and receive emails easily through this platform.
- Digital Archives: This application has an integrated digital archiving system, allowing users to store and manage letters efficiently.
- Mail Tracking: The tracking feature allows users to track the status of letters, simplifying the monitoring and supervision process.
During the discussion, general affairs staff responded positively to the application's ease and practicality. They welcomed PTIPD UIN Malang's initiative to introduce a technological solution that can improve efficiency in managing correspondence on campus.
This meeting also confirmed the commitment of PTIPD UIN Malang to continue to further develop the application based on user input so that the application can be more optimal and meet needs.
It is hoped that this introduction to the General Section will allow for widespread implementation of the correspondence application within UIN Malang. This concludes the meeting held today to introduce the correspondence application demonstration from the PTIPD Unit of UIN Malang to the General Section (Archivist).
